Six databases are provided with HUD multifamily developments that prepaid a mortgage, opted out of a rental assistance contract, have notified HUD of a potential opt-out, or refinanced a mortgage. Data start at January 1, 2005.

HUD Prepaid Mortgages
Lists developments that had a HUD multifamily mortgage that has been prepaid and has not been refinanced under a HUD program.
HUD Opt-Outs
Lists developments that had a HUD rental assistance contract and that have opted-out of the contract.
HUD Potential Opt-Outs
Lists developments with a HUD rental assistance contract that notified HUD of the intent to opt-out of the contract upon expiration. It is a cumulative list of such notifications since inception of this Clearinghouse database, January 2005. It includes remarks about the current state of the contract: development continues as a potential opt-out, development has actually opted out, contract was renewed, or development was not eligible for opt-out.
HUD Refinanced Mortgages
Lists developments that were originally financed with conventional or federally-insured mortgages and that have been refinanced under a HUD program.
HUD Section 202 Refinanced Mortgages
Lists developments that were originally financed under Section 202 and have been refinanced under a HUD program.
HUD Mark-to-Market
Lists developments that underwent restructuring of an existing federally-insured mortgage when the rental assistance contract expired. This takes place under the HUD Mark-to-Market program.
