Definition

Periodic study to determine the need for rental housing units in Florida communities, including affordable units and housing for special needs populations. Conducted by the Florida Housing Data Clearinghouse at the Shimberg Center for Affordable Housing on behalf of the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.

  1. Full text of the 2010 Rental Market Study is available for download. The study includes an analysis of Florida's cost burdened renter households and the subsidized housing available in the state. Data and estimates cover the years 2010-2013.
