Notes: Need for beds for single workers is calculated by subtracting the estimated number of unaccompanied workers from the number of beds available in migrant labor camps permitted by the Florida Department of Health. Counties with negative need for single worker beds have higher than average shares of migrant workers and large supplies of migrant camp beds, which may serve workers during multiple harvesting periods. Need for beds for workers accompanied by other household members is calculated by subtracting the estimated number of households from the supply of farmworker housing subsidized by USDA Rural Development and Florida Housing.
